Teresa desired a sitting room that held Italian inspired balcony aesthetics, with curved archways and ample access to the terrace. The sitting room was to incorporate a colorful palette to rejuvenize the space while establishing her energetic personality. The hues utilized were those found in traditional Italian design and was incorporated into the space as bold statements. Relics obtained during Teresa’s many travels were used as overall décor along with a large Zebra rug obtained during a trip to Africa. The room became Teresa’s relaxing, energetic and open hosting sitting space with a gorgeous backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains that grounds the design.
